If you already have an ICREW account from previous seasons, simply logon and add yourself to the "team" on your ICREW page you'll be participating in this season. The corresponding fees and practice information will then appear on your profile page.
note to parents: please allow your rower to take responsibility and logon using their account credentials. ICREW profiles should be made using the rower's name and email address! This way, athlete practice attendance does not include random parent names! (your child can direct you to their account "fees" tab in order for you to pay for them).
REQUIREMENTS (complete the below requirements on ICREW. Swim test/Health History forms are to be handed in the first day of practice)
Swim Test Requirement
All rowers and club members are required to have a swim test on file. Please give the Head Coach a copy of your signed Swim Test form (lifeguards at local pools e.g. island, YMCA, can conduct test and sign form). Swim Test Form here /on ICREW.
USRowing Membership
All program participants must be members of USRowing (also required for most regattas we attend). ICREW will direct you to the USRowing Website, where you can renew/set-up a Basic Membership, $15.00/year.
- On the left under “Individuals”, select “Join” (if you have had a membership in the past and just need to renew, select “Members” and then “Renew/Upgrade”).
- Fill out your personal information. For “Club or Team Name” begin typing “Cascadilla Boat Club" and you should see our club pop up.
- Our club code is TCW9S. Click “Submit."
- Select the Basic Membership (or other membership type if you choose). Click “Submit."
- Fill out the remaining information to complete your profile and make your payment.
After creating a new membership you should be prompted to submit your USRowing waiver. If you do not see this option or are completing the waiver at a later time, return to the USRowing Website and under “Individuals” select “Members” and then select “Sign Waiver”.
Mandatory SafeSport Training - required by USRowing
Go to https://membership.usrowing.org, and click Log In under individuals. From your membership profile, click the SafeSport button on the menu bar. This should sync the profile with the current SafeSport completions and show Refresher Courses (if eligible) or in the Catalogue show the SafeSport Trained menu course. Completing it there should show completion on your USRowing profile/CBC's roster.
Scholastic participants will also be required to sign CBC's "code of conduct" on ICREW and hand in a printed copy of their Health History Form.
