Youth Competitive Sculling
Intensive training in singles, doubles and quads to prepare to race at the Canadian Henley regatta. Rowers must be able to commit to entire summer and not miss more than a few practices.
Who: rowers with at least one season of varsity rowing, entering grades 9-12 in fall 2022. Graduating seniors may also participate. Rowers with two seasons of novice (but have not yet been on varsity) may be accepted with coach approval.
When: Monday – Saturday, 8-10am
Dates: Monday June 26th - Saturday August 5th
Canadian Henley Regatta is Monday Aug 7th – Sunday Aug 13th
*no practice on Tuesday, July 4th.
Cost: $450 season fee.
The Canadian Henley regatta fee has varied widely in the past (mainly based on type of accommodations available). But I would estimate it will be around $400 for the week, includes food, lodging, race fees.

A low-key program for athletes who want to keep rowing and improving their skills. Program is divided into one-week chunks to allow for vacations and other camps. Focus will be on fun and skill building. Rowers will do a mix of sculling and sweeping.
Who: rowers have completed one or more seasons of rowing (varsity or novice), or at least one week of Learn to Row. Entering grades 7-12 in fall 2022.
When: Monday – Friday, 9:30am - 12:30pm.

Week 2: July 5th – 7th ( no class July 3 & 4)

Week 4: July 17th – 21st

Cost: $150 for one week. Week 2 is $90 due to shorter session. Discounted to $125 for two or more weeks
Youth Learn to Row
Fun and fast-paced introduction to the sport of rowing. This course is geared for the new-comer and will teach all aspects of the sport, including: basic boating and water-related safety, instruction in proper rowing technique, and lots of rowing on the water. No prior rowing, boating or athletic experience is necessary.
Who: anyone entering grades 7-12 in the fall of 2022
When: Monday – Friday – 9:30am – 12pm
Week 1: June 26th – 30th
Week 2: July 5th – 7th ( no class July 3 & 4)
Week 3: July 10th – 14th
Week 4: July 17th – 21st
Week 5: July 24th – 28th
Week 6: July 31st- Aug 4th
Cost: $200 for 1 week, discounted to $175/week for two or more weeks, or for multiple children from the same family.
